The pavilion changes everyday because it is a manifestation of its surrounding environment. Psychologically, it reduces our dependence on vision which heightens all other senses. It purposefully awaken other senses that are sometimes forgotten.

Troost Educational Center is an experiment into detailing a building to manipulate the air temperature in order to form condensation to reduce energy consumption. Psychologically, the building intimidates people by reflecting light into the eyes of anyone of the street making views into the building impossible. I decided to do this in order to fulfill Maslow’s Hierarchy of Needs For Success to ensure students of the facility are given the best opportunity.

Le Mans, France. Concept rendering for a museum for the 24 hours of Le Mans Race. 3rd year project. I hadn’t dived into computer renderings yet.
This project is a resort home for Issac McArthur who suffers from vitamin D deficiency. Therefore, the project focuses on capturing sunlight through the day and year. It’s suppose to reflect but absorb its surroundings. Reflect visually since the alps are beautiful but absorb the sunlight.
